For more than 60 years the Staffa name has been synonymous with the best in class radial piston hydraulic motors. The Staffa product range has continued to develop into fixed, variable and high power versions that provide high-torque, low-speed control to a wide range of applications.
Staffa motors are found in the most arduous marine and industrial applications such as deck machinery, offshore winches, plastic injection moulding machines and drill rigs. The latest addition to the Staffa range is the HMF 3-speed motor, available in four frame sizes, ranging from 1,475 cc/rev to 5,326 cc/rev. With 3 displacement modes, it is the only motor of its kind currently on the market.
The fixed displacement HMB series radial piston motors have a well proven design that incorporates high efficiency with good breakout torque and smooth running capability.
The HMC series variable displacement models have two pre-set displacements which can be chosen from a wide range to suit specific application requirements. These motors are also available in a continuously variable version using either hydro-mechanical or electro-hydraulic control methods.
The HMF three-speed models have three pre-set displacements which can be chosen from a wide range to suit specific application requirements. Motor displacement can be changed with ease while the motor is running.
The enhanced variable displacement HPC models include special low friction components, combined with crankcase flushing flow, to achieve increased shaft power. It is used around the world in marine and offshore winch applications and is known for its efficiency and reliability.
